Juni 2012
"We have had a great time in Los Molinos. Cozy location, with all that rushing water around you. Pleasant terrace, spacious and beautiful garden where guests could have their own place.
The living-dining room which was small but that was not really a problem. For us a great starting place to visit and the Sierra Nevada and to go to Granada"
Karina, Netherlands

Zabaleta, the Picasso from Quesada, Jaén

In the surroundings of the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park, you can find the nice village of Quesada, home to the Andalusian painter Rafael Zabaleta (1907 - 1960). A few years ago, in 2008, a magnificent museum, which would not be out of place in for example New York, was opened.

Museo Zabaleta, Quesada, Jaén

Here you can enjoy many of the fine works of this artist.

The work of Zabaleta, who was acquainted and heavily infuenced by Picasso, has painted from a very early age. He has painted many ordinary day scenes in the lives of the peasants living near Quesada, with special geometric volumes.

More information on Zabaleta you can find on the following websites:
